Meet Kathy Feinstein, LMHC, CMPC

Kathy received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. Kathy is currently a PhD candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision with expected graduation from Regent University in 2022. Her research interests include perfectionism and sport parenting. Kathy is listed in the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s Mental Health Registry. She is an adjunct instructor in the master’s counseling program at FGCU. Kathy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of KAF Counseling and Consulting, Inc., a private practice with a focus on sports performance and general counseling. Her podcast, Parenting Peak Performers, supports sports parents’ specific needs. Kathy’s passion for her work is driven by the belief that “we live like we play” and when counseling positively impacts performance, people experience enhanced overall well-being on and off the field. We are proud to have Kathy as the lead in our new Mental Wellness program!
